Trip to Southeast Europe 2005

I had the good fortune to spend 3 weeks in Southeast Europe. I served as an English Language Specialist for the School Connectivity Project at the invitation of the US Department of State. In this capacity, I visited schools, where I interviewed students, teachers, and administrators, and conducted workshops. I visited 12 schools altogether, but at many schools I met with participants from other schools in the area.

Meeting with all these wonderful people was a life-altering experience for me. The students are simply an inspiration. They represent a tribute to the power of the Internet as a tool for international communication and peace.
